Join us for a fun 2-hour workshop on making the most of the Knit Companion app. Karen will lead a hands-on review of the capabilities of this great tool, to help you "knit more and frog less"!
Knit Companion Basics – Level 1
This class will focus on the basics of Knit Companion. How to set preferences, import patterns from Raverly, PDFs, and websites. Students will learn how to set up a simple pattern from start to finish, including how to create a key, set up a chart and counters. Students will learn about tools embedded in the program including rulers, pattern calculators, and where to find additional help resources.
Knit Companion – Advanced - Level 2
After a basics class students will dive far deeper into the wonderful tools embedded in the program. Students will learn how to create chart templates, join chart pieces, learn to color code charts with magic markers. Also, how to use counters, link counters, and use hands free tools. Students will walk away with a deeper understanding of the capabilities of this amazing resource. Level1 skills (and time to practice using them) are required for Level 2. The classes build on each other!
