
Have you always wondered what's so fun about brioche knitting? Admired the squishiness and colorplay, but been intimidated by the technique? This little bandana cowl will give you a little taste of brioche knitting, without being overwhelming!
Skill Level: Adventurous/Advanced Beginner
Experience Required: You should be familiar with cast-on and bind-off, knit and purl stitch, KFB, and K2TOG
Special Techniques Learned: You will learn basic brioche stitch with two colors, flat, and basic brioche increases/decreases
Materials Needed:
- DK or Light Worsted Weight yarn in two contrasting colors, 100g/ approximately 220 yards of each, purchased from Chickadee Knit Studio
- US7/4.5mm circular knitting needles, at least 24 inches long
Price: $50 for two 2-hour sessions with Chris (includes pattern)
**HOMEWORK REQUIRED: You MUST complete Sections 1 and 2 of the pattern before the first class. This is a one-color garter stitch section with about 80 rows of knitting. This is super important - if you have not finished the homework prior to the first session, you will need to reschedule for another class at a later date.
